The HTTP accept header has the following format: Accept: media-type, media-type, The media-type is a string that specifies the type and subtype of the content, such as text/html , application/json , image/jpeg , etc. You can also use wildcards to indicate any type or subtype, such as */* , text/* , image/* , etc.
In the Name field, enter the name of your header rule (for example, My header ). From the Type menu, select Request, and from the Action menu, select Set. In the Destination field, enter the name of the header affected by the selected action. In the Source field, enter where the content for the header comes from.
14.1 Accept The asterisk * character is used to group media types into ranges, with */* indicating all media types and type/* indicating all subtypes of that type. The media-range MAY include media type parameters that are applicable to that range.
To add custom headers to an HTTP request object, use the AddHeader() method. You can use this method multiple times to add multiple headers. For example: oRequest = RequestBuilder:Build(GET, oURI) :AddHeader(MyCustomHeaderName,MyCustomHeaderValue) :AddHeader(MySecondHeader,MySecondHeaderValue) :Request.
XMLHttpRequest: setRequestHeader() method Note: This feature is available in Web Workers, except for Service Workers. The XMLHttpRequest method setRequestHeader() sets the value of an HTTP request header. When using setRequestHeader() , you must call it after calling open() , but before calling send() .
Headers: set() method The set() method of the Headers interface sets a new value for an existing header inside a Headers object, or adds the header if it does not already exist.
The Accept request HTTP header indicates which content types, expressed as MIME types, the client is able to understand. The server uses content negotiation to select one of the proposals and informs the client of the choice with the Content-Type response header.
