hi guys becca c smith here and today iamp;#39;m going to show you how to anchor images in indesign for epub iamp;#39;m also going to be doing a tutorial on chapter headings with images as well and anchoring but this tutorial is just for images inside of the text of the book itself itamp;#39;s actually very simple which is frustrating because it took me so long to figure out because for some reason whenever i would export the epub all the images would either be at the end of the chapter or really tiny and let me start by saying i am by no means an expert i have learned everything from trial and error and reading a lot of boards itamp;#39;s been difficult for me to find youtube tutorials on this specific topic so i hope it helps for for all of you that have had the same difficulty i have had okay so hereamp;#39;s i have the chapter i donamp;#39;t have a chapter heading on here because iamp;#39;m going to be doing the tutorial later but here is the book weamp;#39;ve got a chapter

Well, you can change the metadata of the ePub by using Sigil: press the key F8 (or go to the Tool menu and there select Metadata Editor. In the dialog that appears you have a field named Author:; here is when you can write the correct name as you want.
Opening an epub file is easy! Right-click on the file, select Rename, and change the extension from .
Page numbers, headers, footers. eBooks are reflowable and can be viewed with different font sizes, so page numbers and page count dont apply. Also, eBooks dont have headers and footers, so you dont need to add them to your file.

I find the easiest method is to add the EPUB file to the open source program calibre You can then right click the file and select Edit file. The calibre editor will do the job of unpacking the file and the individual sections can then be edited. Youll find a knowledge of HTML and CSS will be useful.
