so guys in this video I will try to show you everything you need to know about the guide and the ruler so guys to bring up the ruler click on the preview window then press Ctrl R letamp;#39;s enlarge the PV window so that you can see everything clearly now if you donamp;#39;t want to use control plus r you can go to view then enable show rulers from here now as you can see we have rulers now if we move our cursor over the ruler and right click we can change between pixels and percent now we are using the person now for the guide move your cursor about the ruler left click hold drag so here we have our guide to remove the guide go to view then clear guides now suppose we want to add a guide after 30 percent of the width from the left side so for that move your cursor over the ruler right click add guide so we want from the left side so click on left 30 percent now vertical or horizontal so we select the vertical now press on OK see now we have a guide after 30 Gap from the left side l

Smart Guides are turned on automatically. Clicking and dragging an object will reveal Smart Guides when the object aligns with other things on the slide. Click and drag an object until alignment guides appear.
To add a guide, Ctrl+click or right-click on your slide, point to Guides, and then select Add Vertical Guide or Add Horizontal Guide. To remove a guide, Ctrl+click or right-click the guide line, and then select Delete on the menu.
