For singular names ending in s, the Chicago Manual of Style adds an s after the apostrophe, as in Charless bike. If your work or assignment requires you to adhere to one convention or another, then do so. Otherwise, either form is acceptable so long as it is consistent throughout a single piece of written work.
For names ending in s or es and having two or more syllables, you usually just add an apostrophe. If the name is only one syllable, add -s.
To form the possessive, add apostrophe + s to the noun. If the noun is plural, or already ends in s, just add an apostrophe after the s. For names ending in s, you can either add an apostrophe + s, or just an apostrophe.
The first name is defined as the name that is given to an individual person during birth or at a very young age. The last name is defined as the name that is given to a person from its family generations. The first name comes before the last name.
Unfortunately, you cant change your name in Stardew Valley Mobile once youve set it at the beginning of the game. The only way to have a new name is to start a fresh game. Sad, I know, but it gives you a chance to experience the fun of starting over! Nope, youre stuck with it.
The spelling Chriss, with an additional S after the apostrophe, is a more common way to write the possessive form of Chris. Most style guides, such as the Chicago Manual of Style, recommend that you use an apostrophe and an S to create the possessive form of a singular noun.
Use the apostrophe + s after the second name if two people possess the same item. Otherwise, use an apostrophe after each name. Never use an apostrophe with possessive pronouns: his, hers, its, theirs, ours, yours, whose. They already show possession.
If a name is singular but ends in an s, you always add an apostrophe after the name to show possession, but you can also add another s after the apostrophe if you prefer (e.g., Jess office OR Jesss office). If the name is plural, simply add an apostrophe at the end to show possession (e.g., the Jones new baby).
