Overlay photos Right-click on a photo and use the Layer option to bring it forward or backward, or select Position and rearrange the blocks to layer your photos ingly. Then, select Transparency in the toolbar above the editor and use the slider to adjust the transparency of each photo.

Overlay is a contrasting blending mode which means it makes light pixels lighter, and dark pixels darker, while 50% gray pixels disappear. This is a combination of both the Screen and Multiply blending modes.
To make a selection in your image, you can use the select subject tool (1), any of the marquee or lasso tools (2), and the object selection, quick selection, or the magic wand tool (3).
