Contact us
Add a drawing to a document Click in your document where you want to create the drawing. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes. You can do any of the following on the Format tab, which appears after you insert a drawing shape: Insert a shape.
From image library Click More Insert tab. Under Pictures Tables, click the Image icon. Click My Library in the left panel. Select the image you want to use and click Insert. You can also search for the required image using the search option. Use the Sort By option to choose images in an easier way.
Select the tool from the Drawing toolbar. The mouse pointer changes to a drawing-functions pointer DrawFunctIcon. png. Move the cross-hair pointer to the place in the document where you want the graphic to appear and then click-and-drag to create the drawing object.
Select Insert Shapes. Select the shape you want to add. Click and drag to draw it.
Click one of the toolbars shapes to turn your cursor into a crosshair. Click inside your document, hold down your left mouse button and drag the cursor down towards the right to draw your shape. Release the mouse button when the shape docHubes the size you desire.
Just in case, Ill sum up my above post: Insert a placeholder image in your ODT template. Position it the way you like the final Image to appear. Name the image. Use the Java-Code I posted above to substitute the placeholder by.
