Embed an object in a worksheet Click inside the cell of the spreadsheet where you want to insert the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object . In the Object dialog box, click the Create from File tab. Click Browse, and select the file you want to insert.
Find your Drawing in your Google Drive. Double click on the Drawing to open it. Go to File Publish to the web. Click on Embed.
To insert a new object from another application: Click Insert Object (or type InsertObject). In the dialog box, select Create New. In Object Type, select the application you want to use. Select Display As Icon if you want the applications icon to appear in the drawing instead of the data. Click OK.
When you embed a drawing, the drawing is placed in the document, but linked to the original in Google Drawings. By using the Update button, you can update the drawings content with one click if changes are made to the source file.
On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes. You can do any of the following on the Format tab, which appears after you insert a drawing shape: Insert a shape. On the Format tab, in the Insert Shapes group, click a shape, and then click somewhere in the document.
Click File Scroll down Share and click Publish to the web Choose your image size, click Embed and click Publish. Copy the embed code generated.
To insert a copy of your file into another, embed or link to it. Go to Insert Object. Select Create from File. Select Browse and choose the file you want to use. Select Insert. Choose Display as icon to embed, or Link to file for a link. Select OK.
