hello again thank you for joining me for another digital logic tutorial today weamp;#39;re going to be discussing binary multiplication all right so here are some of our basic rules so 0 * 0 is 0 0 * 1 is equal to 0 1 * 0 is equal to 0 and 1 * 1 is equal to 1 all right pretty simple right all right so letamp;#39;s start off B basic you know letamp;#39;s say we have eight in binary uh I mean four in binary and weamp;#39;re going to multiply 4 by two all right so this will look familiar itamp;#39;s just like with decimal number so 0 * 0 0 0 * 0 0 0 * 1 0 pretty good uh all right and so weamp;#39;re going to move over to this one to the next place value and weamp;#39;re going to put a zero here to lock it up um or you can leave it blank itamp;#39;s up to you but just know that when you start multiplying you need to start at the second spot so 1 * 0 is 0 1 * 0 is 0 1 * 1 is 1 all right and when youamp;#39;re done you add them all up 0 0 0 0o and one and so this is eight in binary
