Comment Log is a simple tool to add explanatory text notes to monitoring responses, based on a specified range of time. There are many types of comments that can be created based on the circumstances.
Insert a comment Select the text you want to comment on, or click at the end of the text. On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
Select the list item, and then select Comment. Or select the icon next to the list item. In the Comments pane, type a comment in the box and then press Enter.
To add a new comment, click Review New Comment. If you have the Word desktop application, use the Open in Word command to open the document and turn on track changes.
Add a comment Select what you want to comment on. Select Review New Comment. Type what you want. Click elsewhere in the document when you are done.
