csv files have a limit of 32,767 characters per cell. Excel has a limit of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns per sheet. CSV files can hold many more rows. You can read more about these limits and others from this Microsoft support article here.
csv file extension stands for comma-separated value file, and its one of the most common outputs for any spreadsheet program. A comma-separated value file refers to a file where the data is input as data separated by commas.
Currently, the TSV/CSV rendering engine doesnt support comments. However, it is common to have comments in CSV files, and popular tools, such as pandas readcsv support ignoring comments.
Comma-separated values (CSV) is a text file format that uses commas to separate values, and newlines to separate records. A CSV file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text, where each line of the file typically represents one data record.
If you want to insert comment in csv or make any other basic change in your document, choose a document editor that has the features for you to deal with ease. To handle all the formats, such as csv, opting for an editor that works properly with all types of documents will be your best option.

Open a new Excel sheet. Click the Data tab, then From Text. Select the CSV file that has the data clustered into one column. Select Delimited, then make sure the File Origin is Unicode UTF-8. Select Comma (this is Affinitys default list separator). Finally, click Finish. Remember to Save your document!
