today weamp;#39;re going to talk about another interesting immigration topic citizenship one of the most common questions we get is how do i become a u.s citizen well there are several ways to get u.s citizenship one is if youamp;#39;re born in the united states but then youamp;#39;re probably not asking me how to get it right because youamp;#39;re automatically an american citizen if youamp;#39;re born on u.s soil another way to become u.s citizen is through naturalization weamp;#39;ve had many videos that talk about that but first you would need to go through the immigration process and get a lawful permanent residence status which we usually know as a green card because historically they used to give it to you as a green card after five years of being a lawful permanent resident for most people unless you got it through marriage to a u.s citizen in which case you can apply after three years so youamp;#39;ve had your citizenship you excuse me youamp;#39;ve had your green card
