so I I came here uh to actually get gas on pump five Nicole Amber pulled up to this gas pump the other day at a grabbing GO station in Fairfield okay with her bank account as empty as her caramp;#39;s gas tank she put in only $10 of gas but the pump hit her debit card for almost $50 draining her checking account down to fumes when I left and checked my card I got charge 4820 so she marched into the convenience store where she found a sign saying debit cards will be subject to a 48 to 72h hour hold was there a sign on the pump you no we couldnamp;#39;t find one either nowhere out here does it say that weamp;#39;re going to put a hold on your card for 72 hours itamp;#39;s known as a pre-authorization hold itamp;#39;s perfectly legal and many gas stations do it these days to make sure you have enough money on that debit card to pay for your fill up the hold at some stations is now as high as $125 which happened to Linda Begley last summer they put $125 hold on a $32 gas purchase whic

If an inmate asks you to put money on his book so he can make commissary purchases there are several ways you can do it; You can MAIL in a money order or cash. We highly recommend that you dont send cash through the mail.
To Use the Inmate Lookup System to Send Money Go to .nyc.gov/doc. On the right, find the Inmate Lookup box. Click Look Up Inmate. Enter the inmates NYSID or Book and Case Number. On the page for the inmate, click the Send Money button. This brings up an instruction page.

Money can be entered into an incarcerated individuals commissary account utilizing the following options: In person: Kiosk located in the facility lobby. Phone: Call 1-866-232-1899. You can use your phone or computer to send emails letters, and photos to an inmate. Messages are sent electronically to inmate tablets or kiosks at the facility. If you would like to send an message, start by searching for an inmate at Oklahoma Department of Corrections .
Deposits may be made through JPay over the phone by calling 1-800-574-5729. Cash may be sent through MoneyGram locations, including CVS and Walmart, using the receive code 6365 in addition to the inmates seven-digit ODOC number. A money order or cashiers check may be mailed to JPay.
Greeting cards are usually acceptable to send, although if posted by a loved one, the prison will photocopy the card and give it to the prisoner (for drug prevention reasons). Most prisons accept cards ordered via online companies, but you can check this with the family services team to avoid disappointment.
