Remember that a number between 1 and 63 has been (secretly) chosen, and that the magician is then handed those cards that contain the secret number. The magician then immediately reveals the secret number. How does he do it? He simply adds up the numbers that appear first (the upper-left-hand number) on the card.
A binary code represents text, computer processor instructions, or any other data using a two-symbol system. The two-symbol system used is often 0 and 1 from the binary number system. The binary code assigns a pattern of binary digits, also known as bits, to each character, instruction, etc.
Lets look at binary codes for all letters of the English alphabet to give you an idea of how to write functions in code: A: 01000001. B: 01000010. C: 01000011. D: 01000100. E: 01000101. F: 01000110. G: 01000111. H: 01001000.
Uppercase letters start with 010 and lowercase letters start with 011. The letter a is 01100001. From there, count the number of the letter and write that number in binary. For example, the letter d is the fourth letter (100), which is written as 01100100 in binary.
2 in binary is 10. Unlike the decimal number system where we use the digits 0 to 9 to represent a number, in a binary system, we use only 2 digits that are 0 and 1 (bits).
One of the methods to convert decimal to binary is by dividing the given decimal number recursively by 2. Then, the remainders are noted down till we get 0 as the final quotient. After this step, these remainders are written in reverse order to get the binary value of the given decimal number.
The binary addition rules are as follows. 0 + 0 = 0. 0 + 1 = 1. 1 + 0 = 1. 1 + 1 =10 ( carry 1 to the next docHub bit) 1 + 1 + 1 = 11( carry 1 to the next docHub bit)
Divide the number by 2. Record the result and the remainder. Continue to divide the result by 2. Stop until the result is 0. The binary answer is the remainder,read it from bottom.
