It is always good practice to add a caption to any figure or table. Fortunately, this is very simple in LaTeX. All you need to do is use the \caption{text} command within the float environment.
Select the object (table, equation, figure, or another object) that you want to add a caption to. On the References tab, in the Captions group, click Insert Caption. On the Captions dialog box, click AutoCaption, and then select the check boxes for the items that you want Word to automatically add captions to.
If you want to reference a table, the best thing to do is put the \label command immediate after the caption . If you put it anywhere else, then you can get peculiar numbering. Aside from that, you can reference tables just like you reference anything else in LaTeX.
Caption. It is usually beneficial to include caption to your images. To do so, simply use the command \caption{text} either below or above your figure (usually below for images and above for tables).
You could use the \captionsetup command to define a margin for the shifting. You can call it before each sub float command to adjust as needed. Thanks for your help. Now Im using a given LaTeX template to write my thesis.
The column widths and spacing between the columns are automatically arranged in a table. To place a double line under the table title, \hline\hline command is used. Then, the heading is inserted, i.e., Case Method\#1 Method\#2 Method\#3.
