now that weamp;#39;ve got index.html open inside our web design one folder weamp;#39;re ready to go through and start putting content in I could start at the traditional way a way that some of you will have seen with straight Open brackets HTML and the bracket and then going through and hand coding content in but Iamp;#39;m actually wanting this document here to conform to International standards to make sure that Iamp;#39;m using strict HTML or xhtml to ensure the document is as rigorous as possible I am just going to copy and paste some code that Iamp;#39;ve already put in previously so that you donamp;#39;t have to painfully watch me type out each step of the way this is one of the powers of notepad++ in that it is able to differentiate between different types of text so when youamp;#39;re actually error cheing we able to go through and see where the separate categories are right away you can see where my open and end brackets are for my HTML it sticks out a little bit better

XMLHttpRequest (XHR) objects are used to interact with servers. You can retrieve data from a URL without having to do a full page refresh. This enables a Web page to update just part of a page without disrupting what the user is doing.
To send a request to a server, we use the open() and send() methods of the XMLHttpRequest object: open(GET, ajaxinfo.txt, true); xhttp. send(); open(GET, ajaxtest. asp, true); open(GET, ajaxtest. asp, true);
How to use XMLHttpRequest? Create an XMLHttpRequest object. let xhr = new XMLHttpRequest() Initialize the created object using the xhr.open() method: xhr.open(method, URL, [async, user, password]) Submit an request usin the xhr.send() method: xhr.send([body]) If you need to cancel the request, you can use the xhr.
send() accepts an optional parameter which lets you specify the requests body; this is primarily used for requests such as PUT . If the request method is GET or HEAD , the body parameter is ignored and the request body is set to null .
Send a Request To send a request to a server, you can use the open() and send() methods of the XMLHttpRequest object: xhttp. open(GET, ajaxinfo.txt); xhttp. send();
