Configuring MAC Authentication In the Network tab, click the network for which you want to enable MAC authentication. Click the edit link and navigate to the Security tab. For a network with Personal or Open security level, select Enabled from the MAC authentication drop-down list. Click OK to continue.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu  System Preferences, then click Users Groups. Select your user account, then click Login Items at the top of the window. Click the Add button + below the list of items, select Authenticator, then click Add.
Click Sign-In Security, then click Turn on next to Two-Factor Authentication. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password, then click Sign in. Answer your security questions, then click Continue. Enter your phone number for verification, select a verification method, then click Continue.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings your name Sign-In Security. Tap Turn On Two-Factor Authentication. Then tap Continue and follow the onscreen instructions. On your Mac: Choose Apple menu  System Settings (or System Preferences), then click your name (or Apple ID).
On your Mac, use the Advanced options in Privacy Security settings to adjust the security settings of your Mac. To change these settings, choose Apple menu System settings, click Privacy Security in the sidebar, then click Advanced on the right.
Make sure that your iPhone, iPad or PC has a strong Internet connection and that youve turned on mobile data on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings Cellular or Mobile Data. If this setting is off, you might not be able to access your Apple ID and iCloud when not connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Click Sign-In Security, then click Turn on next to Two-Factor Authentication. If prompted, enter your Apple ID password, then click Sign in. Answer your security questions, then click Continue.
