Add an attachment field in Datasheet view On the Table Fields tab, in the Formatting group, click the down arrow next to Data Type, and then click Attachment. Access sets the data type for the field to Attachment, and places an icon in the header row of the field. The following figure shows a new Attachment field.
How to Fix Attachments Not Showing in Outlook Reload Outlook. If you cant see attachments in an email you received, close Outlook and re-open it. Check with the sender. Look for the paperclip icon. Drag and drop files. Use the pop-out option. Select Show all. Check your internet connection. Rename the file extension.
Add an attachment On your computer, open Google Calendar. Create an event, or open an existing event. If you create a new event, click More options. At the bottom, in the description box, click Add attachment . Choose a file thats already in your Google Drive. When you finish, click Select or Upload.
Usually this has to do with the format of the email. When you send new email messages through Outlook, by default they are set to be HTML emails. However, some mail programs use Rich Text or Plain Text messaging. If you are replying to a Rich Text email, youll notice that the attachment goes in the body of the email.
To remove an attachment displayed in the message body, double-click the message to open it in a new window. From the Move group in the ribbon, select Actions Edit message. Click to select the attachment in the message body and then press the Delete key on the keyboard.
To change it so that the attachment is not shown in the body of the email, you should click on the Format Text tab when you are composing the email. Then under Format, you should toggle between HTML, Plain Text, and Rich Text. Try this out and I hope it helps.

This new window will open navigate to the folder where the file is and select the file. Now click on open. Here you can see that the file has been attached.
Why do my attachments show up in the message body and not below the subject line? Outlook allows you to send email messages in three formats: HTML, plain text, and rich text. If you use rich text format (RTF), any files you attach will show up in the message body.
