In many cases, the best resolution for printing is 300 PPI. At 300 pixels per inch (which roughly translates to 300 DPI, or dots per inch, on a printing press), an image will appear sharp and crisp. These are considered to be high resolution, or high-res, images.
In printing, DPI (dots per inch) refers to the output resolution of a printer or imagesetter, and PPI (pixels per inch) refers to the input resolution of a photograph or image. DPI refers to the physical dot density of an image when it is reproduced as a real physical entity, for example printed onto paper.
The definition of product evaluation is to evaluate the quality of products in order to summarize experience as the guidance for follow-up design. Methods and process of user experience measurement are applied to the area of product evaluation.
Product description: Describe the product being evaluated, including its purpose, target market, and unique selling points. Evaluation criteria: List the specific criteria you will use to evaluate the product. This might include safety, quality, durability, and customer satisfaction.
DPI: If your printer has an option to select Maximum DPI, use this to get the highest resolution print. 300 dpi does the trick. 600 dpi looks great with graphics. 1200 dpi is ready to be sent to the company executives. 1440+ dpi is professional-level photographic print quality.
Print quality is mostly measured in DPI, which is quite similar to the definition of pixels in terms of digital images and even screen resolution. DPI is equivalent to the ability of a printer to mimic the number of pixels or the resolution of the source image.
Heres how to evaluate a product for business potential.1. Do market research. Identify the strengths of your business. Analyze the weaknesses. Identify business opportunities. List the threats to your business.
