Weve been on employer plans, marketplace plans, and even a Medicaid plan. Ive learned a lot about analyzing health plans strategically and Im going to share with you the mistakes that people make too often with choosing a health insurance plan. The first up is ignoring those high deductible plans with HSAs. A lot of people just pass right by those plans because theyre afraid of what might happen if they have a big medical expense. Duplicate License To submit a request for a duplicate license, send an email message to DIFS-Licensing@michigan.gov with Duplicate License as the subject line. In the body of the email, provide the licensees name exactly as it appears on the insurance license, and the 7-digit Michigan System ID number.
Go to the website of your health insurance provider and log in using your unique policy number. Once logged in, you will be able to see all the details related to your current insurance plan. This will include the active status, the next due premium and the coverage of the plan.
If you do not have your member ID number, call Member Services at 1-888-499-6885. From the homepage, click on order new ID card under Online Services.
Print license You can print your license by going to the Sircon website.
How do I print my license? Go to the Sircon website and select Print a license from the list on the left. Theres no fee for the first 30 days after your license is approved or renewed or if you sign up for free Sircon for Individuals account. Select individual or firm license and Texas from the state menu.
