Select the worksheet that you want to print. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Titles.
Select View tab, Windows Group, click Freeze Panes and select Unfreeze Panes.
If the Print Titles ribbon button is grayed out, check to ensure that youre not currently editing a cell or an area chart. Also, check to verify that at least one printer is set up in Windows.
Change a selected print area On the worksheet, click and drag to select the cells you want to print. Select File Print Print. To print only the selected area, in Print Options, select Current Selection. If the print preview shows what you want printed, select Print.
Print gridlines in a worksheet Select the worksheet or worksheets that you want to print. For more information, see Select one or multiple worksheets. On the Page Layout tab, in the Sheet Options group, select the Print check box under Gridlines. Click the File tab, and then click Print. Click the Print button.
The Print Titles command allows you to designate certain rows and columns to repeat on every printed page. Click the Page Layout tab. Click the Print Titles button. Click in either the Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left field.
On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Titles.
Unprotect an Excel worksheet Go to the worksheet you want to unprotect. Go to File Info Protect Unprotect Sheet, or from the Review tab Changes Unprotect Sheet. If the sheet is protected with a password, then enter the password in the Unprotect Sheet dialog box and click OK.
Print row or column titles on every page On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Page Setup. Under Print Titles, click in Rows to repeat at top or Columns to repeat at left and select the column or row that contains the titles you want to repeat. Click OK. On the File menu, click Print.
The Print Area, Rows to Repeat at Top and Columns to Repeat at Left are diabled (grayed out) if you select File Print Page Setup. They should be enabled when you activate the Page Setup dialog by clicking the little arrow in the lower right corner of the Page Setup group of the Page Layout tab of the ribbon.
