Set a password The simplest technique for securing a PDF file is to protect it with a password. You can then share the password only with people who are authorized to open the document, and anyone who enters the access code will be able to open the file.
Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
The Permissions setting controls restrictions that can be placed on the PDF file. To prevent printing of a PDF file, uncheck the Allow the document to be printed option. You must always enter a master password when security options are enabled or when a user password is set.
How to prevent printing or editing a PDF form Open a PDF in docHub Pro, proceed to the File option on the top menu bar and select Properties in the list: Choose Password Security in the dropdown below: In the Permissions section, choose whether printing and editing is allowed.

Click the Security Method drop-down arrow and choose Password Security to open the Settings dialog box. Click the Restrict editing and printing of the document.
