so you have a big presentation coming up and you want your PowerPoint slides to look great the built-in themes just arent going to cut it the good news is that its quick and easy to add custom themes to PowerPoint for a unique look Im using the simplicity theme purchased from graphic river after I downloaded the template Ive got a zip file when I extract it I want to find the dot THM X or theme X Files at this point I want you to make a folder where youre going to store all of your PowerPoint themes which you can put basically anywhere Im just going to make a folder called templates on my desktop and move the dot THM x files into it now Ill click on the explorer window at the top and copy the path to the folder where my templates are lets jump back over to PowerPoint go to the file options menu and in the safe panel find the box that says default personal templates location this is the folder where PowerPoint will look for your templates Ill paste in the path to where my cust
