With our lovely new Lock Screens in iOS 16, Notifications now appear from the bottom and they can appear in different ways. In fact we can fine-tune that to make it look exactly as we like - and heres how you do that. Im going to go straight into the Settings app and from here Im going to choose Notifications. Now on this page there are three new options at the top of your screen and these are how notifications are displayed on your Lock Screen. Heres a quick look at how these work in practice, thanks to some test emails Im going to send myself! List is how they were displayed prior to iOS 16. Thats where you have all the notifications one after the other and you can scroll down and see them all. But the new default in iOS 16 is called Stack. and Stack is where only the most recent notification shows up and the rest are kind of hidden behind it slightly. NO. You cant check someones location if they didnt deliberately activate location sharing with you (they will be periodically reminded that they are sharing their location and they can stop sharing it at any time).
To see who can track your location, open up the Find My app and tap on the People tab. People who have shared their location with you and people you have shared your location with will show up in this list. A person who is able to see your location will be denoted with Can see your location.
No. When sharing location with friends using Find My Friends, the other person doesnt know how many times their friends have looked them up. They dont get any notification or there isnt any log of lookup incidents made available to them. The location is sent from the friends device only when you request to see it.
