my name is Bernard Ashwin and with publishing smarter in this video Iamp;#39;m going to show you the basics of working with docHub frame-maker 12 in order to create a structured document make sure first of all that you are working in the structured interface if you see menu options like element instructor tools then youamp;#39;re already there but if not first click on edit then choose preferences ensure that under global general is selected and then change the product interface to structured framemaker I also like to disable the automatic backup on save when Iamp;#39;m creating files so that I donamp;#39;t end up cluttering my folders once this is done click OK and then restart framemaker in the structured interface you can choose file and under new thereamp;#39;s additional options click XML for the purpose of the demo and just to get started make sure that data is selected and then click concept then click OK by default the last workspace that I used is still remembered so Iamp

To create a DITA-OT plugin , follow these steps: Create a new folder in the plugins folder located in your DITA-OT directory (for example, if you are using DITA 4.1. 2, the path would look like this: [OXYGENINSTALLDIR] /frameworks/dita/ DITA-OT /plugins/MyNewPlugin). Create a plugin.
Follow these steps to create a new, empty style sheet: Select File New Other. In the New window, select XML XSL. Click Next. Select the MyProject directory. In the File name field, type CDTitle. xsl and click Next. In the Select XML file page, select the CDTitle. xml file. Click Finish.

Creating a DITA Topic in Oxygen XML Editor Select File New or click the New button on the toolbar. Step Result: The New Document Wizard is displayed: Go to Framework templates DITA topic and select the type of topic that you want to create. Select a file path where it will be saved. Click Create.
Content created using DITA is in XML format, making it machine-readable. DITA content is componentized, arranged in topics and maps, and most commonly stored in a component content management system (CCMS).
