Go to Home, and then select the Font dialog box launcher at the bottom right corner of the Font group, or press CTRL+D. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Set As Default.
To change the default back, select File Options Advanced Cut, copy, and paste, click the Pasting from other programs down arrow and select Keep Source Formatting in the list, and then click OK.
Use the Paste Special option: You can use the Paste Special option to paste text without formatting. Heres how: Copy the text you want to paste. Place your cursor where you want to paste the text. Go to Home Paste Paste Special.
If you copy a paragraph from the source document that uses the Normal style and paste it into the target document, it doesnt automatically use the Body style, as the rest of the document does. Instead, it keeps the Normal style but uses the style settings for the Normal style as they exist in the target document.
We can change the font style in a LaTeX document using one or a combination of the ones below: \textbf{bold text} \textit{italic text} \texttt{typewriter text} \underline{underlined text}
The text takes on the style characteristics of the paragraph where it is pasted and takes on any direct formatting or character style properties of text that immediately precedes the cursor when the text is pasted.
