when writing a long article we may find the content of it may be related to each other take this paper as an example the content of the first heading in the text is quoted in the summary part it will take us a lot of time to scroll the page with the mouse to find the heading if we use the cross reference feature we can quickly jump to the referenced location first click the place where we want to use the cross reference feature click the cross reference button in the reference tab then a dialog box will pop up in reference type we can choose ing to our needs here we take heading as an example at for which heading we can select the title to be quoted and click on the first title media literacy select the displayed text of the reference in insert reference to here we take head text as an example after settings click the insert button now the title has been successfully inserted press and hold the ctrl key then we can see the icon of the mouse cursor has turned into a finger click

Keyboard shortcuts in the Paste Special dialog box in Excel In Excel, you can paste a specific aspect of the copied data like its formatting or value using the Paste Special options. After youve copied the data, press Ctrl+Alt+V, or Alt+E+S to open the Paste Special dialog box.
Tip: If youd prefer to use the keyboard, in step 3, you can press Ctrl+Alt+V to invoke Paste Special.
Use the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + Option (⌥) + Shift + V. Your text will be pasted without any formatting, ensuring it matches the style of your document.
Paste Special options Select the cells that contain the data or other attributes that you want to copy. On the Home tab, click Copy . Click the first cell in the area where you want to paste what you copied. On the Home tab, click the arrow next to Paste, and then select Paste Special. Select the options you want.
Special Paste can also be applied to do some simple calculations. Take Sheet3 as an example, we need to sell the goods at 30% off. Copy 0.7 first, then we can select the data to be calculated, press and hold Ctrl+Alt+V to activate Paste Special, and click Multiply at Operation to get the outcome.
Step 1: Select the content you want to copy. Step 2: Press Ctrl + C to copy the content. Step 3: Ctrl + V to paste the content.
If you use Ctrl+V or the Paste command, only formatted text will be pasted. To paste without formatting, you should use the Paste special command (Alt+Shift+V) instead. (Ribbon interface: click the black triangle beneath the far left icon in the Home ribbon; classic menu: go to Edit Paste special).
