Right-click the thumbnail you want your copied slides to follow in the second presentation, and under Paste Options, do one of the following: To take the theme of the presentation youre pasting into, click Use Destination Theme. . This will adapt the copied slide to match the destination theme.
Paste the copied content by pressing Ctrl+V, and then select Paste Values or Match Destination Formatting in the Paste Options dialog box. Select Paste Values or Match Destination Formatting in the Paste drop-down menu in the ribbon.
I suggest doing this in a new, blank workbook. Type something in a cell (a formula, number, or date) Select the cell, and use Command-C to copy the cell. From the Tools menu choose Macro Record New Macro. Fill in the blanks. Click OK. Select an empty cell. From the Edit menu choose Paste Special.
Use Destination Theme applies the theme font (and other theme settings) of the file you paste into. This is the default choice. Keep Source Formatting keeps the original font and other theme settings. To achieve this, PowerPoint implicitly copies the slide master of the source file to the destination file.
Go to the Home tab in PowerPoint Paste Paste Options. Click Use Destination Theme and Link Data or Keep Source Formatting and Link Data. You can also use the shortcuts, the L and F keys, respectively.
By default, Word preserves the original formatting when you paste content into a document using Ctrl+V, the Paste button, or right-click + Paste. To change the default, follow these steps. Go to File Options Advanced. Under Cut, copy, and paste, select the down arrow for the setting to change.
