Drawer: A drawer is a person who agrees to pay the drawee a certain amount of money on the maturity of the promissory note. He/she is also known as maker. Drawee: She/He is an individual, in whose favour the note is prepared.
A promissory note typically contains all the terms involved, such as the principal debt amount, interest rate, maturity date, payment schedule, the date and place of issuance, and the issuers signature.
Maker or Drawer is the person who makes or draws the promissory note to pay a certain amount as specified in the promissory note. He is also called the promisor.
