This morning we welcomed Dr. Vivek Reddy, a renowned researcher in cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. Reddy obtained his medical degree at the University of Michigan and completed his residency and fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology at Yale and Massachusetts General. Before joining Mount Sinai, he held positions at the University of Miami and Massachusetts General. Currently, Dr. Reddy holds the Leona M and Harry B Helmsley Charitable Trust Professorship of Medicine and Cardiac Electrophysiology and leads the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Mount Sinai. He has led numerous multinational clinical trials and pioneered pulse field ablation for atrial fibrillation, being the first to implant a miniature leadless pacemaker.
