hi and welcome back to another video today we are taking a look at powerpoint presentations and how you can copy slides from one um presentation to another um there are fundamentally two different ways to do this and iamp;#39;m going to try to cover both of those off and the benefits and the pitfalls of either of them um if you find this useful please do click on the like button hit subscribe and tap that bell means a lot to the channel and with all that said letamp;#39;s jump on over to powerpoint okay so here i am i have two presentations the one on the left is my new presentation and the one on the right here is um the old presentation that i would like to copy a slide from and then copy it into my new presentation so the very first thing youamp;#39;ll notice is youamp;#39;ll be very tempted to just come over here right click on the slide that you would like and click copy then come over to your new presentation and paste that slide in now when you do this what you end up doing

Change options when pasting content Click or tap where you want to paste the content. Press CTRL + V and then select Paste Options . Hover over the buttons for a live review. Copy and Paste Select the text, slide, or object you want to copy. Click the Copy button on the Home tab. Press Ctrl + C. Click where you want to place the copied text, slide, or object. Click Paste. Press Ctrl + V.
Once in Slide Sorter view select the first slide in your new section, right-click on it, and choose Add Section. Give your section a name and press Enter. To rename, or remove, a section, select it, then right-click and choose the appropriate item from the context menu.

All the content layouts in PowerPoint include bulleted-list formatting. To remove the bullets or add them, you select the content placeholder and click Bullets on the HOME tab. To add a new item and drop down another level, press Enter, and click Increase List Level. Or, press Enter+Tab.
Copy and paste a section Right click on the section youd like to copy, then select Copy. On the second document press CTRL+V in the outline to paste the selected section.
