in this video we will learn how to insert a signature into Microsoft Word first you will need to draw your signature on a piece of paper with a marker or another pen with a large line thickness then take a photo of your signature and send it to your computer through mail or Bluetooth Etc in this video we will use mail once you have received the signature in the mailbox you can download it now letamp;#39;s open Microsoft Word and insert the signature in the document navigate to the insert tab in the ribbon and in the illustrations group click pictures from the drop down menu select this device Now search your files to find the signature photo in our case the source file is the downloads folder select the image and click insert you can see that word has added the picture to the document when you click it you can resize your image by dragging one of the sizing handles if you have a lot of space around the signature as in our case you can crop the image click it and in the picture

A copied signature isnt legally enforceable Generally, for an eSignature to be legally enforceable, the method of signing needs to be deemed reliable, and proven to identify the person. A copy-and-pasted signature wont cut it.
Insert a signature line Click where you want the line. Select Insert Signature Line. Select Microsoft Office Signature Line. In the Signature Setup box, you can type a name in the Suggested signer box. You can also add a title in the Suggested signers title box. Select OK. The signature line appears in your document.
To insert a signature in Word, go to the Insert tab, select Signature Line, and follow the prompts to create and insert your digital signature.
Using a typed signature in your business is legal and accepted. But for an esignature that is legally binding and valid, you must adhere to the following rules: Prove that the signer wanted to sign by providing options like Cancel. Prove that the signer wanted to carry out their business electronically.
Forging a signature is considered a form of fraud. It involves deceiving others by falsely representing someones authorization or consent, which is illegal and can result in various legal consequences, including fines and imprisonment.
Scanned signatures are not legally valid. This is because its impossible to prove both the identity and the intent of the signer. Think about it: anyone with access to any document containing your handwritten signature could simply scan it. After that, they could just paste it into whatever document they choose.
Indeed, in the absence of proof, a scanned signature is considered to be a copy, and not an authentic signature! It is therefore not legally valid, particularly when contractual documents are concerned.
