okay letamp;#39;s say you have a previously printed book that you want to convert to an Epub file and you want the Epub file to actually generate the table of contents well here are a few quick tips that you can do to help you on your way letamp;#39;s begin the first thing you want to do is you want to make sure that you have the actual cover of your book on the first page of what will be your Epub file for example in this particular example we have this image here we replaced the black and white title page with the actual cover image and then the last thing you want to do as far as pages are concerned if you have letamp;#39;s say a blank page at the back of your book because typically your your page one is on the right hand side and then of course the uh the back will be a left hand page so if you have something like that on your printed piece you want to delete that back page so you can go to your page palette click on that page and just delete it so now all you have is live conte

In some cases, you can copy, paste and print; however the allowable amount varies by publisher. Most of the e-books in EBSCO and eBook Central have a copy, paste and print allowance.
Protecting ebooks The rapidly growing industry faces a docHub challenge, however piracy. Unlike physical books, ebooks can be duplicated easily and infinitely with no loss in quality and no cost to the end-user. This spells disaster for publishers and authors, who can miss out on sales and royalties.
If youd rather not bother with renaming the file, Id recommend 7-Zip ( With 7-Zip you can just right-click on any file, select 7-Zip Open Archive (or one of the extraction options), and as long as the file is internally in the correct format (regardless of file extension) itll open/extract the contents.
Copying Pasting from Your eBook: If your eBook has a copy/paste allowance, the process begins the same as highlighting! Click (or tap and hold your finger if youre using a touchscreen device), then drag over the words youd like to copy. In the task box that appears, click Copy Text.
A: As for DRM-free epubs, there may be no copy limits. For DRM-protected ebooks, the limits for copying and pasting usually comply with EPUB copyright guidelines. These limits may vary for different ebooks. You should have been notified when you docHubed the limit.
E-books: Copying and printing from e-books. You can print or copy a limited number of pages from most e-books. For e-books on the EBSCOhost and Ebook Central platforms the exact number of pages which can be printed is unique to each e-book.
Sideloading usually involves four steps: Downloading the ebook file to your computer: Attaching your e-reader, tablet or phone to your computer and mounting it as a drive: Locating the right document folder in your device: Dropping your downloaded ebook file into it.
You can open and read .EPUB files on both Windows and Mac devices if you download docHub Digital Editions to your computer. Open docHub Digital Editions on your machine. Select File, then Add to Library. Find the saved .EPUB file on your device. Double-click the .EPUB file you want to read.
Copy or translate part of a book Select text in the book. To copy the text as words, under Selection text, select and copy it. To copy the text as an image, under Image or Embed, copy the URL. To translate the text, click Translate.
