Once the secure QR code is copied by a counterfeiter, it loses key information which make it possible to detect the code as counterfeit. When counterfeiters copy secure QR codes, the result is detectable using a simple mobile phone camera.

How do I duplicate a QR Code? Go to the QR Code dashboard. Click on the 3 dots on the right side of your Website QR Code, just below the download button. Once you click on it, a drop-down menu will appear. Then, a pop-up message will appear, which will allow you to name your QR Code and complete the duplication process.
Steps to duplicate a QR Code Go to the QR Code dashboard and choose QR Code from the sidebar. You will see a list of all QR Codes you have created previously. For the QR Code you want to duplicate, click the ellipsis and choose Duplicate from the drop-down. A copy of your QR Code will be created.
You can copy a QR code by capturing a screenshot. On a PC, press Windows key + Shift + S, then draw a box around the QR code to copy it. On a Mac, press Shift + Command + 4, and draw a box around the code to save it to your desktop.
You can redirect existing QR Codes to a new destination only when youve created a dynamic, a.k.a. editable QR Code. A static QR Code contains information that is directly encoded into the codes data pattern and redirects straight to the destination upon scanning.
