There are a few reasons why your markdown images may not be displaying. One reason could be that the image file is not in the same directory as your markdown file. Another reason could be that you have not specified the image file extension in your markdown code.
Steps: 1) Pre-requisite : Create a gist with atleast one file. 2) Copy + Paste the image into the Comment field. OR. 3) Once the image is uploaded, the Url link to the hosted image is visible in comments field. 4) Save the markdown file. And youll see the image placed inline in the markdown file.
Smartly paste in Markdown by pressing Ctrl+Alt+V (Cmd+Alt+V on Mac) or Markdown Paste command. If you paste an image, the extension will create an new file for the image and insert link code to Markdown.
Images in Markdown can be created by inserting the image name inside the square brackets and image link URL inside the parenthesis with an exclamatory symbol at the beginning. We can insert the images from various sources, such as Internet and PC.
