Hello and welcome to the Google Sheets tips video. Im Sumit Bansal. And in this video, I will show you how to insert an image within a cell in Google sheets. Now, there are two ways to insert an image in Google sheets. The first way is to simply go to the Insert tab here and go to image. And here, itll give you this dialog box where you can either upload an image, you can take a snapshot from the webcam, or you can specify the URL. So here I have the URL of a Amazons logos image, and I would put this URL here. And when I do this, itll use this logo and insert this logo on the worksheet. So it will take a couple of seconds. And here I have this image, but the problem with this way of inserting images is that this image floats over the worksheet as a separate objectif I try and squeeze it within a cell. So if I resize it and I bring it here , and let me resize this cell as well, and I place this image within the cell, it would still consider itself as an independent object,. Which m

Yes, you can insert an image into an Excel cell as follows. Paste an image into Excel, then resize the image and drag and drop it on top of a cell, as pictured below.
Insert an image from a computer In your Excel spreadsheet, click where you want to put a picture. Switch to the Insert tab Illustrations group, and click Pictures. In the Insert Picture dialog that opens, browse to the picture of interest, select it, and click Insert.
The autosizing feature will allow you to set a columns width to fit its content automatically. Hover the mouse over the line between two columns. The cursor will turn into a double arrow. Double-click the mouse. The columns width will be changed to fit the content.
Right-click your picture and click Format Picture. Then click the Size Properties tab (a symbol with a green square with arrows around it) and select Move and size with cells. Press F5 to run the code and repeat this process until all the images in your sheet fit into cells.
Sheet protection might prevent users from inserting images. Another reason is when the worksheet is protected. Depending on the settings of the sheet protection, you might not be allowed to edit objects. The solution (or course): Unprotect the sheet.
