So letamp;#39;s look at the least efficient way to do it first. You can highlight the text and then go up to the amp;#39;Editamp;#39; button and here you could choose to cut that text entirely, in which case youamp;#39;ll see that itamp;#39;s gone, and then if you wanted to paste that text onto another document, you could go here and go to amp;#39;Edit,amp;#39; amp;#39;Paste.amp;#39; Now letamp;#39;s say that you want that text to move over to the other page but you donamp;#39;t want to cut it from this one. You might be familiar with this shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V (Cmd + Shift + V on Mac)its also called keep text only or paste plain textbecause of its popularity in other applications like Microsoft Teams, Word for the web, Google, and Gmail.

Keep Text Only (T) This option discards all formatting and nontext elements such as pictures or tables. The text takes on the style characteristics of the paragraph where it is pasted and takes on any direct formatting or character style properties of text that immediately precedes the cursor when the text is pasted.
