Procedure There are two ways to display the Add to Access List dialog: Display the access list and click Add in the table window. Specify this information: Select Refresh to make the new ID immediately active for all users. To add the same ID with different conditions to the access list, click OK.
The COPY command copies selected file items to another file, to the printer, or to the terminal. In addition, you can copy any item and store it in the same file by giving it a new item-ID.
Each ACL has one or more access control entries (ACEs) consisting of the name of a user or group of users. The user can also be a role name, such as programmer or tester. For each of these users, groups or roles, the access privileges are stated in a string of bits called an access mask.
To copy an ACL between directories Issue the fs copyacl command to copy a source ACL to the ACL on one or more destination directories. (The command appears here on two lines only for legibility.) Is the shortest acceptable abbreviation for copyacl. Names the source directory from which to copy the ACL.
Copy: Ctrl+C. Cut: Ctrl+X. Paste: Ctrl+V.
Copy a directory into another directory Create a directory src mkdir src. Create a file in src touch src/myfile.txt. Create a directory proj mkdir proj. Copy the src into proj cp -r src proj.
