The syntax for adding XML comments in your code is triple slashes /// followed by one of the supported XML tags.
The number in each sequence is the ASCII value of that character....Using Special Characters in XML. Symbol (name)Escape Sequence> (greater-than)> or >& (ampersand)&' (apostrophe or single quote)'" (double-quote)"1 more row
Because XML syntax uses some characters for tags and attributes it is not possible to directly use those characters inside XML tags or attribute values. To include special characters inside XML files you must use the numeric character reference instead of that character.

The syntax for adding XML comments in your code is triple slashes /// followed by one of the supported XML tags.
Press Ctrl + / Select all the lines that you would like to be commented. Press Ctrl + / Two slashes "//" will be added to the front of each line, causing them to be recognized as a comment.
If you want to comment out a single line in the XML code, insert your cursor at the beginning of a line you want to comment out. Type a less-than symbol followed by an exclamation point and two dashes. Move your cursor to the end of the line and then type two dashes followed by a greater-than symbol.
Commenting out an entire XML block using CTRL+ / comments each line separately instead of creating a block comment. Select the entire block of xml and hit CTRL+/ to comment the entire block.
Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C — comment selection. Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R — uncomment selection.
