Bas 64 is not encryption it has nothing to do with security Bas 64 is just a well-known relatively performance way to encode and decode a batter AR to and from a relatively portable character set and Bas 64 URL is a little bit more portable than b 64 B 64 is clear text so if we want to ciz a secret in the text format we encrypt it first and then we base 64 until next one happy cing

Base64 is used because some systems are restricted to ASCII characters but are actually used for all kinds of data. Base64 can camouflage this data as ASCII and thus help this data pass validation. Because some older systems think that data consists of 7-bit chunks (bytes), whereas modern ones use 8-bit bytes.
Base64 uses 6-bit characters grouped into 24-bit sequences. For example, consider the sentence Hi\n, where the \n represents a newline. The first step in the encoding process is to obtain the binary representation of each ASCII character. This can be done by looking up the values in an ASCII-to-binary conversion table.
To encode data in Linux, you use the base64 [file] command. To decode, you use base64 -d [file] . This command is a powerful tool for encoding and decoding data, making it safe for transmission. In this example, were using the echo command to create a string Hello, and then we pipe that string to the base64 command.
Base64 is a scheme for converting binary data to printable ASCII characters, namely the upper- and lower-case Roman alphabet characters (AZ, az), the numerals (09), and the + and / symbols, with the = symbol as a special suffix code. The datas original length must be a multiple of eight bits.
Base64 is a method to convert byteswhich can represent anything, like text, images, videoto a sequence of ASCII characters. So, you can use base64 to convert an UTF-8-encoded text to an ASCII text (though one that is not really readable to humans), but no, it is not UTF-8.
The Base64 characters include: Numbers: 0123456789 Symbols: +/ Uppercase letters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ Lowercase letters: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz Padding character: =
Base64 encoding is a text encoding string that represents binary data into an ASCII string, allowing it to carry data stored in a binary format across channels.
What is Radix 64 Encoding? Radix 64 encoding allows binary data stored in octets (i.e. bytes) to be expressed as printable characters.
