To use options from the Paste Special box, select Home, select the clipboard icon (Paste), and select Paste Special. Keyboard Shortcut: Press Ctrl+Alt+V.
Use Shortcut to Transpose in Google Sheets After copying the cells you want, click on an empty cell and use the following shortcut to transpose and paste: Alt + e, s, e (Windows) or Ctrl + Option + e, s, e (Mac).

If you need the pattern to fill multiple cells, you can copy and paste the image. Alternatively, you can use Excels Ctrl + D to drag and duplicate the image across the desired cells.
Make sure youre using the Paste special option correctly. After copying the cells, right-click in the cell where you want to start pasting, then select Paste special and choose Transposed. Alternatively, you can use the menu option Edit Paste special Transposed.
