[Music] hello everyone welcome to prominence AutoCAD tip of the week this week were gonna cover a very useful trick to copy and place an object from one drawing to another drawing at the same location so in order to do that were gonna use the commands copy base and paste clip what we can see here in this drawing we have a vein deposit that we want to strike we want to do some designs for extracting that a vein deposit however there is a mining property that limits the area where we can extract other areas that we can extract from that deposit so what we want to do is we want to copy that mining property into the vein deposit to guide our design in order to do that were going to use the copy base command so we can call the command by just typing on the command line copy base other option is to press control shift and C and it basically calls the copy base command so the base point we can use the origin as our base point 0 0 and we select the object that we want to copy in this case t
