To copy text from a picture, follow these steps: Open the Photos application and head over to the image you wish to scan. Press down and hold on to any word in the image till it's selected. ... Drag the cursors around to select the words you want to copy. Click on Copy to copy the text to the clipboard.
On Android To do so, long tap the picture until a menu appears. Tap Copy. The image will be copied to the Clipboard (temporary storage) on your device.
On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow below Paste, and select Paste Special. In the Paste Special dialog box, select between Paste as Picture or Paste Picture as Link depending on how you want to paste the picture, and then under As select Picture (Enhanced Metafile), and click OK.
