Convert your ink drawings to shapes On the Draw tab, select Ink to Shape. (This mode must be turned on before you draw the shape.) Draw the shape of your choice. To continue inking but stop having your drawings automatically converted to shapes, select Ink to Shape once again.
How it works. Locate the Action Pen on the right side of the toolbox (next to the other Drawing Tools), select it, and start using intelligent ink. To emphasize certain parts of your data, select the down arrow to the right of the Highlighter, and select Snap To Cells. Then draw across the cells to color the cell fill.
Heres how you copy and paste a formula: Select the cell with the formula you want to copy. Press. + C. Click the cell where you want to paste the formula. To quickly paste the formula with its formatting, press + V. Clicking the arrow gives you a list of options.
You will find the Hide Ink button under the Review tab in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Clicking it will toggle ink on or off. When the Hide Ink icon is highlighted in grey, ink markup is being hidden. When it is not highlighted, ink markup is being shown.
Ink Equations allows you to write equations on a tablet device using a stylus or your finger and then converts them to text. If you are not using a touchscreen device, you can do the same using a mouse.
Cause: There are not enough columns to accept the information that youre trying to paste. Solution: Insert more columns, and then try pasting again.
Choose Draw Ink to Math Convert and then click Ink Equation at the bottom of the built in gallery. Use a stylus or your finger to write a math equation by hand. If youre not using a touch device, use your mouse to write out the equation.
To add Ink annotations in Microsoft Office applications, select the Review menu, then select Start Inking. Note: In Microsoft Word or Excel, select the Insert tab and then click on Start Inking.
