Theres no option in the GUI to add custom colors to highlights. You can change the color by editing XML but that is not really a viable option for most.
To highlight text in PowerPoint using Word: Type the word that you want to highlight. Click and drag over the word to select it. In the Home tab, click on the arrow just to the right of the Text Highlight Color tool icon. Select the color you want to highlight with.
Remove highlighting from part or all of a document Select the text that you want to remove highlighting from, or press Ctrl+A to select all of the text in the document. Go to Home and select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color. Select No Color.
While you cant highlight text in PowerPoint the way you can in Word, you can make text in PowerPoint appear to be highlighted using a textbox to simulate a highlighted effect by applying a background color. You can use the glow text effect option as well.
Choose the text you want to highlight. Draw a rectangle covering the text completely. Choose Fill color - Color of your choice. Choose Line color - No line color.
Highlight text Select the text that you want to highlight. On the Home tab, select the arrow next to Text Highlight Color . Choose a color. The text you selected will be highlighted in the color you chose.
The first method is to select the text you want to highlight before applying the effect. To highlight selected text in PowerPoint: Click and drag over the text you want to highlight. In the Home tab, click on the down arrow next to the Text Highlight Color tool.
Open the PowerPoint presentation, go to the slide you want to edit and select the text you want to highlight. On the Home tab, go to Text Highlight Color and select a color. The text will be highlighted in the color you chose.
