Text takes on the style of the recipient document Unless youve chosen otherwise, all your text is in style Normal. So when you paste your text into the other document, it takes on the formatting of Normal style in that other document.
Copy cell formatting Select the cell with the formatting you want to copy. Select Home Format Painter. Drag to select the cell or range you want to apply the formatting to. Release the mouse button and the formatting should now be applied.
Copy Paste Formula Without Changing Format in Excel First, select the data you want to copy (C2:C7), then right-click it, and from the drop-down menu choose Copy (or use CTRL + C shortcut).
