when you create a pivot table in Excel you can change its appearance by using a pivot table style so right now this pivot table has the default style which is quite plain Im going to the pivot table tools tab and Ill click design and theres a menu of pivot table styles so Ill select something maybe something from the dark category so this one the preview shows me has a dark heading and the row at the bottom with some blue in the center so Ill select that now if I try and copy this pivot table so Im just getting the values but not the underlying data so I want to change this just into values instead of a real pivot table when I highlight columns a and B and then copy them Ill click at the top of column B and I dont want to paste I want to just paste the values so from this drop-down Ill paste the values the other option is this values and source formatting when I click that we can see that I get the values from the pivot table but not the pivot table style that I applied so to

To copy and paste, you can use keyboard shortcuts: PC: Ctrl + c for Copy, Ctrl + x for Cut, and Ctrl + v for Paste. Mac: ⌘ + c for Copy, ⌘ + x for Cut, and ⌘ + v for Paste.
Select the contents of the field, then choose Edit menu Copy or Cut. Display another record, if needed. Click the field to hold the data, then choose Edit menu Paste. Click the field that you want to hold the data, then choose Insert menu From Last Visited Record.
To define a repeating field: With the database open, choose File menu Manage Database. In the Manage Database dialog box, click the Fields tab. If your database contains more than one table, select the appropriate table from the Table list. Select the field you want to repeat, or define a new field.
If you are using Windows, you can highlight text and then use Ctrl+C for copy, and Ctrl+V for paste. If you are using a Mac, you can highlight text and then use command+C for copy, and command+V for paste.
Select the record. Choose Records menu Duplicate Record. If the record displays related data, make sure no records are selected in a portal before duplicating the record. Select the related record in the portal (making sure the whole row is highlighted), then choose Records menu Duplicate Record.
You cant copy a complete layout to another FileMaker Pro file, but you can copy and paste all of a layouts objects into a layout in another file. Select the layout objects you want to copy, and choose Edit menu Copy. Then switch to the layout in the other file, and choose Edit menu Paste.
In the Script Workspace, select the script, script folder, or script step to copy, then choose Edit menu Copy. Open the file that you want to paste the item into, then open the Script Workspace. If you are pasting a script step, open the script into which you want to paste the item.
To paste the selected text, double-tap the target point of the script to bring up the Cut / Copy / Paste menu and touch Paste.
