[Music] when you paste information in a presentation from the clipboard there are generally several different ways that powerpoint can paste it and in this video tutorial we will show you how you can add an option to always keep text only when pasting a text in the presentation but before that we should know that we cannot set keep text only option as a default but we can make a more convenient shortcut on the toolbar for this operation do that by launching first microsoft powerpoint and open a new presentation or open the presentation youre currently working on next is to go to the file tab then select options on the left pane and this will open powerpoint options then click on the quick access toolbar in the choose commands from click on the down pointing arrowhead and choose more commands scroll down and file the paste and keep text only and once youve located it select it and then click on the add button and the command will be added to the right hand list once youre done select

If you get a message indicating No clipboard access when you attempt to copy or paste, it is likely that your browser is blocking sites from accessing the clipboard, also known as Cut-Copy-Paste (CCP) functionality.
Turn on the Paste Options button Go to File Options Advanced. In the Cut, copy, and paste section, select Show Paste Options button when content is pasted. Select OK.
To see if the Paste Special option is enabled: Go to File Options Advanced. Under Cut, copy and paste, ensure the Show Paste Options button when content is pasted option is checked.
Specifically, under PowerPoint options, in the advanced tab, I have selected Show Paste Options buttons. This option allows me to change the pasting options after I paste a copied selection of text.
Using the Paste Special Dialog Box The Paste Special dialog box allows you to select which aspects of the copied data you would like to paste. Select the cell(s) whose values should be copied. Windows: Press [Ctrl] + [C]. ] + [C].
To copy and paste objects or slides, select the object or slide thumbnail in Normal View or Slide Sorter View and then press Ctrl + C to copy and then Ctrl + V to paste.
Click in your Office file at the place you wish to insert that item. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow under Paste, click Paste Special, and then choose one of the options below. Tip: If youd prefer to use the keyboard you can press CTRL+ALT+V to invoke Paste Special.
