hey everyone today im going to show how to copy and paste from one layer to another layer in this map i have two trails networks the salmon colored lines the existing network the light blue are the new segments that i want to copy in so im just going to highlight one of the segments that i want to copy ctrl c and then alt control v as in vector and the paste special tool shows up in this case im gonna pick the target layer which is that rail trails the salmon color and okay and just clear the selected segment and there you can see that its come in from there youll go to edit and save but in this case i want to undo that so ive undone that and i want to show it another method on how to copy and paste so again select copy right click copy back to the map and paste paste special and the paste special interface shows up again and click ok clear the selected segment edit save but again im not going to save that this is just for demonstration purposes one thing to remember is uh its
