in this video Iamp;#39;m going to blow your mind with the copy paste option in Excel I have the month Jan to December I would be copying certain month name and I would be pasting it over here in a certain order letamp;#39;s see how we can do that letamp;#39;s say I want to copy February and you could see a dotted line indicating that the cell has been copied let me type one to understand that this is the first copied cell and if you see the paste option is gone let me copy May again you will see the paste option coming in how letamp;#39;s say two here to indicate thatamp;#39;s the second copy cell likewise letamp;#39;s do it for other cells as well three and for November copy again four here so now the first copied cell was Feb second is May third is August and fourth is November now if I want to paste over here there is no paste option however I I can just paste all the sales that I copied either on the same order that it was copied or I can paste it in a different order

Paste with ctrl+V and it pastes normally. Paste with Windowskey+V and it strips all the formatting from what is on the clipboard, and picks up the formatting at the cursor location. Its absolutely magic. Even better, it works in any application.

Re: How to copy/paste exactly, please? go into Edit mode (F2) or click in the cell. highlight the contents of the cell. use Ctrl+C (Cmd+C for Mac) to copy the highlighted contents. click the cell where you want the copy put. use Ctrl+v (Cmd+v for Mac) to paste the information you copied into the new cell.
CTRL+ALT+Shift+V is the keyboard shortcut for pasting unformatted text.

Re: Convert from Excel to Open Office All you have to do is start OpenOffice and use the menu File - Open to select the file to open. Be aware that the importation of foreign format files is not always flawless. When you save a file after editing it, select File - Save As and set the Save As Type to ODF Spreadsheet.
