How can I add a symbol (such as a copyright mark) or accent marks to my script? (Windows) If you have Final Draft 13, go to Edit Emoji and Symbols, and a standard emoji picker will be displayed. Find the symbol you want and click it to insert it where the blinking cursor is on the page.
Acute accent (): Press and hold the Control key (Ctrl) and the Apostrophe key () near the Enter key together. Let go of the keys, then select the letter. Circumflex accent (): Press and hold the Control key (Ctrl), the Shift key just above, and then tap 6 near the top row. Release the keys and pick your letter.
Go to Edit Emoji Symbols and choose Latin from the list on the left. Double-click or drag to the Final Draft page the letter you want. Note that not all accented characters are supported, but many are.
Press Control + , then the letter to add an acute accent. Hold Control, then tap the apostrophe key. You can find the apostrophe next to the enter key. Release the keys. Then select the desired letter to accent.
Go to Edit Emojis Symbols. This opens an emoji and symbol picker, similar to those found on mobile devices: In the top row of icons, choose a category from which to display available emojis, kaomojis, symbols and accented characters.
To type in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel or Outlook, hold Ctrl, press the apostrophe key, release Ctrl, then press e (or your letter of choice).
